Synopsis of the Manga Ao Haru Ride
Yoshioka Futaba has several reasons why she wants to “restore” her image and life as a new high school student.
Because she is cute and has a polite personality, she was ostracized by her female classmates in junior high school, and due to a series of misunderstandings and accidents, she was unable to convey her feelings to a boy she had always liked, Tanaka Kou.
Now in high school, she is determined to be as unremarkable as possible so that her classmates won't envy her. While living her life this way contentedly, she meets Tanaka-kun again, but he now goes by the name Mabuchi Kou.
